Use the form below to register your 1966 or 1967 Dodge Charger. In response to your registration, you will receive an email back letting you know that your Charger was successfully registered. The email will also tell you what color your Charger was originally, what engine it originally had, where it was built, what day it was built, what the original interior color was, how rare it is, etc.

Here are a few things that you will need to locate to register your Charger...

VIN = Vehicle Identification Number. Open your driver's door. On the front door post between the hinges there should be a metal tag. The 13 digit number on this tag is the VIN. Example: XP29H72100001.

SONUMBER = Pop the hood and look on the driver's side inner fender, just back from the battery. There should be a small metal tag there held down by two screws. This is called the fender tag. On a '66 the SONUMBER is on the lower left. On a '67, the SONUMBER is on the lower right. This is an eight digit number.

PAINT & TRM CODES = These codes are also on the fender tag. The PAINT code will be either four or five digits on a '66, and it is labeled a PNT code on a '67, and will be three digits. A '67 Charger will also have a UBS code which tells roof stripe, buffed paint, and upper door frame paint information. The TRM code is on both tags and is a three digit code. It represents the original interior color of the Charger.

If you are missing your fender tag and would still like to know the SONUMBER, then check your radiator support on the driver's side. This is one of the two places where you can find it on the vehicle. On a '66 it will be on the back of the support, facing the radiator, and upside down. On a '67 it will be on the top facing up at the hood. It should start with a '61' for '66's and '72' for '67's, but that is not part of the SONUMBER, but the following 8 digits are.
